It's lawn mowing season and for al those who are putting off getting the lawn mower out of the back of the shed - here's a piece of advice... GET IT DONE! Trust me it is much harder to cut down a mini version of the Amazon!
In our Room 101 article in Heart and Soul, Cerri Adkins lists procrastination as one of her pet hates! For anyone that is a procrastinator - you'll probably find that it is on your top 10 list of pet hates as well! It is a frustrating way to live having a stack of stuff piled up in the back of your mind that you have been putting off over and over again. The longer you put it off the harder it becomes to find 'stuff' big enough to help you ignore it - telly isn't interesting 24/7!
This summer - take advantage of the sun being up, and the world going round to GET IT DONE! Holidays are often a symbol of the end of one stage and the start of another - how great would you feel to go into your next season without a to do list from the last one. Mow the lawn, clear the attic, get the car serviced, change your job, have the conversation, write the assignment, start exercising, start the diet, organise your finances... catch my drift? Great - I'll see you at the fruit and veg aisle!
